What Is regenerative cannabis farming and why does it protect small farming?

View all questions

Regenerative agriculture describes farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity, resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. In some locations, studies have even shown regenerative farms absorb more carbon from the atmosphere than they emit. Regenerative farming helps farmers and the planet by removing the need to spend money and time spreading chemicals and physically disturbing the soil. Harmful fertilizers are not used, instead animal grazing and cover crops allow the farmer to run a truly year-round operation and use animal waste to fertilize the soil in a low-impact way. We believe regenerative farming is the future for small farmers and homesteaders.
